Thank you for visiting WeCounsel Mental Health Counselling and Therapy; There is help for Mental Health Issues!

Firstly, it's best to establish the pretext that everyone in their lifetime will go through some form of mental health issue. Please do not feel bad for looking for help with depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health related issues. You have already taken a courageous step in contemplating starting post-traumatic stress therapy.

I am a BACP registered qualified Integrative counsellor and therapist offering my service via WeCounsel Mental Health Counselling and Therapy, and I help people who are hoping for something different in their life, and currently have the following symptoms or similar:

Counselling & Therapy by a qualified and experience counsellor can benefit everyone; As a female Muslim counsellor myself at WeCounsel, I have assisted people of all backgrounds including Black and Asian minority ethnicity - BAME background. Also, clients from Non-faith and faith backgrounds such as Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, and others.  As a female Muslim psychotherapeutic counsellor & Therapist , I understand the sensitive nature of having a cultural approach to certain situations. All sessions are conducted in English via online zoom or video link or telephone. Also depending on availability; I offer In-person sessions and Eco therapy (Walking in the park, and talking about your issues with me, the psychotherapeutic Counsellor).

My Approaches

As an integrative counsellor, I am not bound to use one modality. I specialise in the following modalities:

  • CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • PCT Person-Centred Therapy

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Existential Therapy

  • Gestalt Therapy

I will always incorporate the above modalities according to your needs.

If you want to start your journey to a better tomorrow, and want to start therapy with a qualified counsellor then follow the steps below:

  1. Book an initial assessment at WeCounsel It's free! You get to know me, and I will be able to let you know how I can help you.

  2. After Initial Assessment, I will send you a questionnaire and agreement form to start sessions.

  3. Online counselling sessions begin via online video, by telephone, or in some cases in person.

  4. ​How many sessions you need will be based on your specific symptoms. At WeCounsel, some clients can take 6 sessions, others in 10-12 sessions. In complicated cases; I also have long-term clients.
