FELICITY BARRY

I am a warm, caring and confident person with a love of counselling, who is skilled in facilitating gentle exploration and change. A qualifed and professional counsellor, I offer short and long term personal and relationship counselling in both Tavistock and Plymouth. I believe that my own life experiences play an important part in helping to build a warm and trusting relationship with you, within which you can explore any difficulties you may be having.

As an integrative counsellor I have experience and training in using a range of counselling approaches. From these I can create a tailor-made approach which best suits you, so that the experience feels 'right' for you and in which you feel valued.

I believe that as human beings we cannot connect properly with others until we have learnt to connect with ourselves.

For eighteen years I worked in doctors' surgeries in Yelverton, Plymouth and Okehampton, both as receptionist and practice manager. Consequently I have a wealth of experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. It was during this time that I became interested in counselling because I could see how the practice counsellors had the skills to transform peoples' lives.
